In a world of a gazillion choices, why would I even remember this person's words, no less their website...and no wonder they don't have any business!

*Remember, I'm no expert, I'm just successful at working on the Internet from a town of 1900 people in the middle of no where...and believe me, it all starts with a database--automated if possible!

ACTION STEP 2:

Go to: http://www.ecomincs.com and sign up for a 30 day test-drive.

ACTION STEP 3:

Complete the signup process for your new account:

  • make sure your user name or email is designed around your business, as it is used for autoresponders:

examples:

Teledevelop is used for www.teledevelop.com

Lead-U is used for www.leadu.com

remember: the user name you select is used for all your autoresponders, so it maybe a good idea to put an email like myname@yourwebsite.com something like lifebydesign@lifebydesign.com where lifebydesign is going to be picked up by the cart as your cart name in the login.

 

ACTION STEP 4:

Go to PayPAL and get a merchant account.

Using PayPAL with your shopping cart eliminates the need to set up a merchant account if you don't have one now. IF you have one now, then using paypal is going to provide you with another option.

[Personally, I prefer paying with paypal for a variety of reasons. It's easy to cancel subscriptions, FAR easier than using credit cards and cancellation systems, easy to have all the stuff you buy in one place and to know when you bought it and for what reason, how to contact the merchant, etc. etc. ]

 

ACTION STEP5:

Write something about yourself, what you do, or your product or newsletter.

Anything that is going to get people interested (people who should be interested--remember: target and qualify--you can't serve the world<G>), here are some examples:

Log In to your shopping cart and select broadcasting and newsletter.

You may want to also do Action Step 8 at this time, because of the simultaneity of having the website/landing site and the step to create the newsletter step.
